Exploring Bali is something that has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Being here is an experience that needs to be fully realized in order to be understood. This trip was a part of an amazing collaboration with the Asia Collective, a network of some of the most stunning restaurants and luxurious properties in the region.

My first couple days were spent in Ulutwatu with the beautiful Boho Bingin hotel. Uluwatu is a surfers haven offering some of the best waves and most beautiful private beaches in Bali. It’s also considered to be one of the six holiest places hosting a number of hindu temples and harmonized points said to bring spiritual balance to the entire island. Boho Bingin is a picturesque boutique hotel with an authentic bohemian vibe. The estate is filled with modern balinese architecture and antiques and is surrounded by a lush tropical garden, infinity pool and lotus pond. The community style dining table is great for meeting and sharing a meal with the other hotel residents. The hotel’s location is also super convenient with the closest beach only a six minute walk away and five minute scooter right to many of Uluwatu’s nicest shops and restaurants. The staff was incredibly welcoming and both pleasant and professional always offering great recommendations and positive vibes.

The second part of my trip was spent in Seminyak, a gorgeous resort town brimming with world class restaurants, spas, beaches and boutiques. 4S, my subsequent accommodation, is a collection of Villas representing the four major pieces of any tropical getaway; the Sun, Sea, Sky & Sand. Each estate is filled with unique asian decor and a vibrant theme centered around its class. I stayed in Villa Sky, a stunningly stylish one bedroom space equipped with a full kitchen, generous outdoor living area, pool and surrounding tropical stone garden all completely private. The lounge area is brilliant; lavishly decorated with soft blue hues and Indonesian accents with an outdoor air system to keep the space cool. The bedroom and accompanying bathroom are expansive with an open style wardrobe and canopy bed and the pool, lined with two relaxing sun beds, gets an ample amount of sunlight throughout the day. Each villa comes with a butler and an attentive cleaning staff that really go the extra mile to effectively meet and accommodate any forthcoming expectations. The location is ideal. A step away from Seminyak Square and minutes to the beach, yet perfectly tucked away via quiet private passageway lined with exotic flora.

Own, the final stop of my dreamy indonesian journey, is a beautiful collection of exclusive Sumantran villas enfolded within the lush greenery of the Umalas. The architecture of modern huts centered around rustic earthy interiors is inspired by the traditions of the Sunda Islands and is reminiscent of a classic Balinese village. The pool is fully equipped with relaxing massage jets and faces a stunning rice field; a staple in Indonesian culture and sustenance. A communal living space encourages relations with other guests while seated amongst a long dining table filled with local artisan eats. At the edge of the property sits the villa’s spa, the prefect spot to unwind with a classic balinese massage or other relaxing remedies. Own offers its guests a private catered experience with a personal staff and serene atmosphere. It feels much like the privacy of a vacation home with the added bonus of five star service.

The scenery surrounding these beautiful villas served for the perfect backdrop for my shoot with the Offline Collection, a London-based International Women’s wear brand debuting their collection Shanghai Fashion Week Spring 2018. Check out more from the collection here: Offline Collection
